BESS Storage

Integrated and intelligent plants for the new electricity grids. We develop the next generation of photovoltaic plants with intelligent storage solutions that prove that, from renewable energies, we can also compete with fossil fuels in terms of reliability. Each project has its own particularities, so we work according to the needs of each area and each client, seeking to maximise production and economic return.

Stand Alone Storage

Kenergy has also oriented its strategy towards Stand Alone Storage solutions, in an imminent scenario of strong and growing implementation of renewables in the markets it operates and locations that are potentially required, where flexibility will be essential to be able to operate safely in the networks and guarantee the flexibility and stability of the system. We are currently technically and economically evaluating various locations and the capabilities of various technologies in terms of integration and OM, as well as analyzing their investment model.

Grid Forming

We are researching new ways to strengthen the power grid during the renewable energy generation process.

One of them is the technology called “Grid Forming”, which, thanks to the power electronics of the inverters, would be able to generate a network and emulate a conventional synchronous generation, and even surpass it in performance.

In addition, we are involved in the working groups in which the roadmap prepared by REE is monitored to meet the objectives of including this technology in its procedures in 2024.


Green Hydrogen

We participate in the strategy of collaborating and implementing Green Hydrogen solutions, contributing to the future full decarbonisation of large energy and transport consuming companies. We are currently exploring several locations to implement pilot projects in partnership with future consumers.

Agrivoltaics

We are involved in several solar projects that promote the inclusion of agriculture and pastoralism, especially in areas of high agrological value. We work together with local farmers and agribusinesses to come up with the best solutions and crop optimisation to bring added profitability to the landowner.
